A possible companion to the Bluetooth buds?

The headphone jack is gone from most of the phones in 2020. Apple first removed it from the iPhone7 in 2016. And since then, we see fewer phones carrying the headphone jack. Yet, we still rely on our high quality, comfortable, ingenious but beefy wired headphones quite often. Let’s be realistic — It took years for bluetooth buds to catchup on audio quality, noise cancellation and reliability. And today you find tons of quality bluetooth buds as an alternative to your trusted wired headphones. Apple has made over 8 billion from its Airpods business since its launch and many are catching up on the trend to go wireless.

However, we might as well continue to have our favourite wired headphones at an arm’s distance for a few more years to come and cherish them as long as they are around. And why not, they have never let us down. They have been our favourite pals on long-haul flights. They’ve saved us from the snoring passenger cramped next to our seat. Airplanes still and might continue with the headphone jack in their entertainment systems for years to come (read safety and security concerns). Moreover, devices like speaker systems, professional audio mixers and studios, game controllers, professional laptops and many more still continue to trust the wired headphones.

For the bluetooth buds and headphone jacks to co-exist, what we need is a bluetooth transmitter paired with your buds that can be conveniently tucked within the case that carries them both. The transmitter when plugged into the headphone jack should be able to transmit audio without any latency and lag issues and should be small enough that you hardly notice it until you need it. This means you only need to carry your super convenient, pocketable buds case (that holds the buds + the ergonomically designed transmitter) next time you fly. You can listen to your favourite audio book on your phone and switch to watching the latest movie on the inflight entertainment system without switching your headgear. Imagine this as we move towards a better world of wireless future.

Convenient Design + Ease of Use + Delight = A Truly PRO Experience
